Moma

Doing galleries with teenagers can get very frustrating but they have an eye for what's cool and take good photos. Moma was - and here's another superlative - incredible with a great de  Kooning and Diego Rivera exhibition on top of all those Picassos, Warhols, Miros and of course Monets lilyponds.

Then I found a Graham Parker show in a club just off Times Square and very excitedly left Raff at home with the airbnb host and set off for a night on the town on my own. One forgets that old favourite musicians from the seventies age just like we do. They get grey hair and don't look cool any more and sadly live in the 70's. He did one good version of Heat Treatment but he was certainly not worth the $14 Chardonnay.
